Twitter recently launched a new feature on their platform where you can directly post your Tweets to Facebook. This has always been possible in the past with the integration of third party services, but you can now set this up hassle free and directly from Twitter on your profile settings.

Twitter recently announced some additions to their channel which will have a positive effect on social media marketing services and brands that uses Twitter with their social media strategy. I have launched a new feature on My Chatbox where you can add a Twitter profile username to a chatbox you have created or that you are an administrator of. Once added, Tweet Fetcher (the brother of the famous Feed Fetcher) will synchronize all the tweets from the added Twitter user to the chatbox. Any new Tweets that the user posts on Twitter will also be published to their chatbox including a link to their Twitter profile. Have a look at the chatbox Freedom to see this in action.

Twitter is one of the best tools that you can use as a blogger to promote your blog posts. Many blogs (including this one) uses Twitter related widgets and badges where you can display Tweets. This is quite a nice trick if you don’t like buttons such as Facebook Like or any Twitter counter buttons on your WordPress website or blog. With this method, you can display your Twitter count as normal text and it can blend in quite nicely if you have custom WordPress theme for your blog or website.
Create a new file and call it twittercounter.php and paste the below code into that file. Make sure the file is located in the root of your theme file.
